Meet Rachel

I am on a mission to transform your health through personalized nutrition.

My qualifications - because human nutrition is a complicated science and you should know that you are getting support from someone trained and qualified in the field.

I graduated in 2020 with a B.S. in Nutrition and Dietetics from Seton Hill University. Seton Hill's program in nutrition and dietetics is coordinated. This means that my internship experiences were integrated with classwork. I completed my internship hours at various locations including Excela health, Alleghany health network food center, Case specific nutrition, Westmoreland Manor, Armstrong School District, Women Infants and Children etc.

I completed my national board exam to become a Registered dietitian in 2020 and immediately began my professional career in clinical nutrition. I completed my M.S. Food and Nutrition Education from Indiana University of Pennsylvania in 2022. Over the past 3 years, I have gained experience working in an outpatient nutrition clinic, dialysis unit, wound care, home care, and psychiatric care.

In my free time, I enjoy riding horses (hunter jumper and cow horse riding). I am also a runner and have done all the distances from a 5k to a marathon to a spartan race.

Nutrition care should enhance your life, not engulf it

Some of my earliest childhood memories are of Mister Rogers' Neighborhood.  I think Mr. Rodger's said it best-

"Just who you are at this moment, with the way that you're feeling, is fine. You don't have to be anything more than you are right now." Let me guide you through the nonsense and break down nutritional science to tailor your nutrition to where you are right now. I do not believe in quick fixes. We will set small individualized goals that will lead you toward lasting, better health. There is no one size fits all. Are you ready?
